What do you mean by web writing?

Web writing entails the creation of written content designed for online purposes: websites, online ads, emails, newsletters, bios, etc.


I see blogs and articles used interchangeably. What is the difference?

Although blog and article posts are often described as the same, they are very different. 

Blog posts follow a looser format and have many uses outside of disclosing information. They are typically opinion driven and used as a device for search engine optimization (SEO).

However, articles lean toward being more fact based with the sole intent to accurately describe the particulars of a subject or an occurrences (news).


What is organic traffic?

Organic traffic refers to the traffic that your website natural retrieves on its own based on factors such as domain and page authority. Depending on how well your web content is optimized you may rank higher in search engine results. 


What is the difference between a business bio and profile?

Business bios are segments of writing that a typically short and to the point. They can have multiple purposes but are typically created for websites.

On the other hand, business profiles can be used on a website, but they also serve additional more focused purposes, such as email introductions. Some companies send out their business profiles to new customers who are unfamiliar with their brand.


Now that I know the difference between blogs and articles, which one is right for my company?
